Hello Lancaster Avenue, We are The Silk Tent. Gifts from Around the World. We are a new International Boutique located at 3860 Lancaster Avenue. The name The Silk Tent was created to conjure images of an exotic place and indulge the creative mind." Our hours are Tuesday-Saturday from 11am to 7pm. The Silk Tent offers an ethnic flare to the categories of Jewelry, Textiles, Home Decor, and Gift Items. We supplement our products with a collection of artifacts from countries such as Africa and Indonesia to name a few. They're used to compliment and influence the design elements of our products. This influence is also reflected in our personal artistry of cutting edge creations that pay tribute to international art from around the world. We hope you'll share our vision and selection of "One of a Kind" products that make a conscious statement. We are happy to join the Lancaster Avenue Family. We hope to build and strengthen our neighborly connection with the community by participating in Lancaster Avenue events such as Second Fridays, our “Learning Gallery” Lectures, and Fairtrade Fairs. West Pets Philadelphia is an independently owned pet supply store with a self-serve dog wash located at 4015 Lancaster Avenue. Our dog wash is B.Y.O.D. (Bring Your Own Dog) because we provide all the necessities, you just bring the dog. Having lived in West Philadelphia for over 10 years and seeing it grow, we are excited to be open and look forward to getting to know and supporting our diverse community of pets. The products we carry use quality ingredients that your pets will love. We partner with local resources, programs, and manufacturers to form a community of support around our loved ones. We carry a variety of small animal and reptile supplies along with products for cats and dogs. If you don't see your pets’ favorite products in our store, we can special order them for you.
