Recognizing our Community Members!

Every Jazz Festival season we take a moment to recognizes the leaders, visionaries, advocates, and compassionate people in our community. This year:
  • Stephen Briggs from Wells Fargo presented the Visionary Award to Pearl Anderson at Lancaster Avenue business La Pearl Beauty Emporium.
  • Kathy Desmond, president of PEC presented the Leading By Example Award to Laura Lombardo for Penn Medicine/Presbyterian.
  • Bob Smith from Comcast presented the You Make a Difference Award to Richard M. Gordon IV, Principal of Paul Robeson High School. PEC Board Chair Damien Ghee from TD Bank will present the Above and Beyond award to our #1 Advocate, Senator Vincent Hughes, which was accepted by Tiffany Wilson, Chief of Staff.
