Computers and internet access may also be available (while supplies last) at no cost for committed adult students who qualify. Paulette, one of our students, said she enjoys the classes she’s been taking: “I come from a work environment where I use the computer every day, but I was only using the programs I needed for my job. So, there [were] a lot of programs that I did not know. This class has helped me learn a lot of new stuff, and there’s a class everyday so you can get on whenever you want!”
New this year is a class designed for parents and caregivers to obtain NorthStar Digital Literacy certificates (after completing final assessments). Meeting Tuesdays at 6pm, safely over zoom, these sessions with help you learn about the Internet, email, Microsoft Office, career searches and more. Reserve your space now!
